Veggie Tales Every Day with God Devo Review and Giveaway

Are you looking for a good devotional for your kids? If your kids love VeggieTales, this is a great way to read more about the Bible, learn verses, pray more often, and get entertained by the one and only VeggieTales.

(Disclosure below).

My kids have always loved Veggie Tales. They are older now, but when the theme song comes on, they start humming along. We, as a family, have learned a lot of good life lessons from the Veggies.

Worthy Kids Publishing recently released Veggie Tales Every Day with God 365 Daily Devos for Boys. It’s a colorful, thick, and manageable book for boys to read daily.

If you have a reluctant reader, never fear, these are short and to the point. The devo is broken down into four parts:

  • The Bible verse
  • The Devo
  • Thought of the Day
  • Pray Together

I do have a couple of reluctant readers, and these are short enough that they won’t be flipping out if you want them to read one a day. In fact, they are colorful and feature a veggie on each page, which makes it more enticing for little ones. They are also short enough, that kids may read on and go through more than one a day. I have a feeling there won’t be a bit of reluctance to read these devotionals.

The devos touch on a lot of things that boys face these days, including, trusting God, having friends, sharing kind words, and how to handle a mistakes in a Christ-like manner.

I like that they have a prayer to pray each day. This helps get kids in the habit of praying each morning or evening. At home, we talk a lot about using Bible verses in daily situations at school, on the playground, or even at social events. The verses are good reminders of how we are to act, and handle things with others.

At first, I was a little worried about the thin pages. Boys can be rough and tough on things. But, so far, the pages have held up, and are a little more stout than I originally thought.

If you have boys, this is a great addition to their library. It’s a great way to start the day, or finish at night. To purchase one of the demos, click on the link below.
