To benefit from more savings, purchase a local Sunday newspaper with coupon inserts. If you have a large family, buying more than one newspaper can be beneficial. Cut the coupons you are interested in using and add them to the savings, on top of the weekly sales at the grocery store. For example, if ketchup is BOGO, you are purchasing two bottles of ketchup, although one is free. However, you can use two coupons, one for each bottle of ketchup, creating more savings.

Another way to add to your savings is to check out couponmom.com. The website lists deals at local grocery stores all over the country.

  • Navigate to couponmom.com, sign in and click on the grocery store where you plan to shop. For example, the site will share all of the deals at Publix in Florida for the current sale period.
  • You will be able to see what coupon is needed (as well as the date of the flyer the coupon is in), the sale price, the coupon price, and your final price after savings.
  • You will also be able to check the items that you are interested in buying and print the list to take to the grocery store for easier shopping.
