This quick and easy recipe for Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge is the perfect creamy dessert candy for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The fudge recipe is made with butter, sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, peanut butter, and Reese’s Pieces and is the perfect addition to any party.
It makes a great gift for friends and neighbors, and the recipe only requires a few ingredients. Plus, you don’t need a thermometer.
Reese’s peanut butter fudge was a huge hit at our house and my husband said it was one of the creamiest and most delicious recipes he’d ever tasted–you can’t argue with that!
I love how easy it is to make this recipe and it only requires a few ingredients. You can even make this in the microwave if you don’t want to get out the saucepan.
Plus, you don’t have to worry about burning the fudge, waiting for it to get to the right temperature, or even dropping it in cold water to do the candy test.
What do I need to make the homemade fudge recipe:
- Saucepan
- Stovetop
- Peanut butter
- White chocolate chips
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Butter
- Reese’s Pieces
- Spatula
- 8″ x 8″ casserole dish
- Non-stick spray

How do I make the creamy fudge?
- Add the butter to a saucepan on medium-high heat.
- Next, add the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and peanut butter.
- Allow the ingredients to melt, stirring occasionally.
- Cook until melted and add half of the Reese’s Pieces candy. Stir.
- Pour into a greased 8″ x 8″ casserole dish. Sprinkle the remainder of the candy over the top.
- Allow the fudge to set up for at least two hours on the counter, or one hour in the refrigerator.
Start by adding the butter to the saucepan. Turn the heat on medium to medium-high. The stovetop will melt things fairly fast.
Next, add the white chocolate chips.
Add the sweetened condensed milk to the pan. If you’re like me, I have a terrible time getting all of the condensed milk into the pan because I want to eat big spoonfuls of it.
Finally, add the creamy peanut butter and let everything melt for a minute or so and then stir the fudge.
See how easy that was? It is the easiest fudge recipe around. If you’re wanting to make gifts for friends and neighbors, or bring treats to the kid’s teachers, this is the ticket.
You can make Reese’s peanut butter fudge, cut it up into small pieces, and hand it out as gifts. Easy peasy.
Give things a stir every once in a while to make sure the butter melts all of the way.
You’ll be done cooking the fudge in a few short minutes. It won’t take that long.
Once the fudge melts, add half of the Reese’s Pieces candy to the saucepan and stir it in. If you don’t want to use half, you can add in as many or as little as you’d like.
Pour it into a greased 8″ x 8″ greased casserole dish and sprinkle the remainder of the Reese’s Pieces on top. If you don’t have an 8″ x 8″, a 9″ x 9″ pan will be fine.
I decided to add parchment paper to the dish so I could easily pull the fudge right out and cut it up once it set up. I greased the pan first, added the parchment paper, and then greased the paper. It might seem like overkill, but the fudge didn’t stick.
You can either leave the fudge on the counter to set up for a couple of hours or place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour to take shape.
The kids loved this fudge and my husband kept wanting to break his diet and eat more because it’s just so creamy.
You can also make this your go-to fudge without Reese’s Pieces and add something else, or make it without candy at all.

What if I want to make it in the microwave?
- Just place all of the ingredients (except the Reese’s Pieces) into a large bowl and microwave for about one minute. Take it out and stir it. If it still needs to melt a little, add it back to the microwave in increments of 10 seconds, stirring in between.
- Add the candy and pour it into a dish to set up.
